Tabitha Moses (Liverpool, UK) examines the technology of reproduction in INVESTMENT. This exhibition involved a long-term project the artist produced alongside her journey into the realm of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF). Happily, Tabitha and her husband Jim have welcomed a baby boy, however, the experience prompted a body of work that will resonate with anyone who has struggled to conceive. Embroidered hospital gowns, photographs, lightboxes with pinpricks that look like both celestial constellations and the outline of a foetus are included in this powerful exhibition. Small installations in cabinets are presented by Charlotte Houston, which also address the pain of infertility.
